CEO: We\u2019re not turning off Google crawlers yet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>People Inc.\u2019s CEO Neil Vogel said the company won\u2019t block Google\u2019s crawlers \u2014\u00a0not because execs don\u2019t want to, but because they don\u2019t want to lose out on any potential referral traffic.<\/p>\n<p>In a company earnings call on Tuesday, Vogel voiced a dilemma shared by many in the publishing industry, who want to block Google\u2019s AI crawler to have control over their content but fear it would jeopardize the Google search referrals they still depend on.
